Mass of Saint Joseph

Mass of St. Joseph was composed in 2013 in response to the lack of beauty in the new Catholic mass settings that became popular after the 3rd translation of the English Missal in 2010. This mass setting was intentionally written for a solo alto or bass singer though some harmonies were added later. It is simple, yet regal like St. Joseph and focuses on the lower tessitura to bring out the richness of the intended voice types. The parts include one voice and organ with optional trumpet duet.
